Cookie Policy
Last updated: 14 April 2026
This Cookie Policy explains what cookies are, which ones we use on the Lingara website at lingarain.pro, why we use them, and how you can manage your preferences.
1. What are cookies?
Cookies are small text files that a website places on your browser when you visit it. They let the site remember things — that you have already accepted a notice, that you came from a particular page, that you prefer English over Chinese — so the site behaves consistently as you move through it.
2. Cookie categories we use
2.1 Essential cookies
These are needed for the site to work. They remember that you have set cookie preferences, that the contact form is open or closed, and similar housekeeping. They cannot be turned off.
2.2 Analytics cookies
These help us understand, in aggregate, how the site is used — which pages are read most often, where readers arrive from, where they leave. They are anonymous, but you may turn them off below.
2.3 Marketing cookies
These would let us, or third parties, show you content elsewhere on the web that relates to the studio. We do not currently run advertising, but we keep this category available so that if we later start an ad campaign you have already given or withheld consent.
2.4 Preference cookies
These remember non-essential choices you make on the site — for example, language preference if we add multilingual pages later.
3. Third-party cookies
The site may, with your consent, set cookies via the following third-party services:
- Google Analytics — anonymous traffic analysis;
- Google Maps — embedded map on the homepage (functional only);
- Social media share widgets, where used.
4. Cookie duration
Some cookies last only as long as your browser is open ("session cookies"). Others persist for a defined period — typically up to 12 months for analytics, and up to 24 months for stored preferences. You can clear all of them in your browser at any time.
Manage your cookie preferences
Your choices are saved on this device and will apply across the rest of the site.
Essential cookies
Always on — required for the site to function.
Analytics cookies
Anonymous data on how the site is used. Helps us improve the pages.
Marketing cookies
Used to show you content related to the studio on other websites.
Preference cookies
Remember non-essential choices you make on the site.
5. Managing cookies in your browser
You can also clear or block cookies in your browser directly. The general route is similar across browsers — Settings → Privacy → Cookies. Specific guides:
Google Chrome +
Settings → Privacy and security → Cookies and other site data. From there you can choose to block all third-party cookies, clear cookies on close, or delete cookies for a specific site.
Mozilla Firefox +
Settings → Privacy & Security → Cookies and Site Data. You can manage exceptions, delete data when Firefox is closed, and control content blocking.
Apple Safari +
Safari → Settings → Privacy. You can block all cookies, prevent cross-site tracking, or remove stored data per website.
Microsoft Edge +
Settings → Cookies and site permissions → Manage and delete cookies and site data. You can block third-party cookies and control which sites can store cookies.
On mobile browsers, the equivalent settings sit under Privacy or Site Settings within the browser app.
6. Your rights
- You may withdraw consent at any time by changing your preferences above;
- Disabling non-essential cookies will not stop the site working but may reduce some functionality;
- For broader questions about personal data, see our Privacy Policy.
